Our Story

What began as a summer garden foray has blossomed into a year round lifestyle involving both plants and animals. We had reached a point where we were tired of dependency on medication and had come to realization that instead of searching for a “cure” what if there was a way to return the body to a normal state through what is put into it. In the spring of 2012 I bought 3 books of areas I wish to pursue in the coming years. They were Chickens for Dummies, Goats for Dummies, and Beekeeping for Dummies. Goats arrived in the fall of 2012, bees in the fall of 2013, and chickens in the summer of 2014. Fall of 2016 we brought in 2 American Guinea Hogs and have really enjoyed seeing their interaction and benefit to the land, we then switched to more market pigs each year after.  In 2018 we hatched out some quail and in 2020 hatched out some ducks.
